A remote design school funded by client work and fund raising. Maybe a non-profit, maybe not. Downside is it’d take some big $$ from clients to pull off, upside you’d be heroes to these students and they’d want to come work for you.

Or the Lambda school model? Students pay after getting a job, must interview with selected companies first. Not sure if it works as well for design since salary is typically not the same as engineering. Worth checking out what
