Transitioning from a Tesla to another car is just depressing

Le shrug. Different people value different things :)

If there was a Model S Wagon it would have been a much harder decision...and maybe if it had an exhaust note. ;) The E63 S Wagon is the perfect car for me. I do love Tesla though and we’re thinking about getting a Model X or Model Y (depending on release details).pic.twitter.com/N3QgSAHK5q

It's hard to compete with an AMG or Porsche exhaust note, ain't it? Again, Teslas aren't made for car lovers. They're super high-end Prius's meant to move people from A to B.

As someone who owns an electric Fiat 500e and an AMG (and a Jeep to boot), maybe you shouldn't assume who Teslas are made for.

My statistics professor would kick me off the classroom each time I extrapolated from a sample size of 1 :)

Maybe both of you shouldn't assume the sample size is only 1 ...

Both of us? I know plenty of “car guys”, who are very close friends, who bought P100D’s—see my tweet in the thread. Like I said, we’re probably getting a Model X for my wife. Elon is a car enthusiast. I trust what he builds. Not for me. Still amazing vehicles—I’d say top 5.

Yeah - us and
@jayleno too! People always dismiss my opinions with "Well the exception doesn't disprove the rule" - my contention is that Alex assuming people who buy a Tesla only want something "meant to move people from A to B" is presumptuous at best.
