It just sucks when you're not given a chance when you tell admissions, you plan to work part time while studying. I get it's hard, I was a full time CS major while working full-time. It's like she threw out my application when it she heard me explain.

Unfortunately at Lambda School the hours are required - it’s not a def paced program, and you have to be there for all of it

So it’s possible to work part time so long as you’re dedicated to hit all hours

I get it, I really do and understand its a huge time commitment. I felt I expressed that over the interview. IMO her tone changed once I mentioned that I would be working part time.

Hey @AustenAllred , do I have to be a US Citizen to apply for the programs? Thanks in advance.

No, but free upfront is very hard for us to do for non-US citizens, so it's very limited

I have a question about lambda school: how do graduates find jobs, do you have a network of companies you push their profiles to, or do you work directly with a recruiter agency after the classes are up and graduation happens? It's def an interesting approach w/ tuitions deferral

All of the above - we have a team dedicated to it, and then some find jobs the old fashioned way (networking and applying)

Any idea of the sum collective salary delta for your grads of the value you've put into the world? Seems like it could be 📈.

I’ll have to check out the sum. On a per student basis it’s around $45k

Out of sheer curiosity, how long would it take to complete this course and what are the prerequisites for admittance?

Prerequisites are being able to pass our challenge/pre-course work (about a month part-time), full course was 6 months full-time
