1. Campuses aren't even necessary. The only upside is the campus-life certain colleges offer. Id just live next to Stanford and study for free on coursera, udacity or lambda. 2. Education is a right, not a luxury and definitely not a business. College should be free.

One of the most important part of campuses are peers. I feel, with the whole online thing, we seem to be ignoring how important ‘friends made while learning’ are for later phases of career/life.
