I believe the phrase for this is "last in, shut the door behind you."

In a recent survey I put together about my east bay hometown, one respondent answered the question “What are missing?” With “A wall around us so no one else can move here.” He moved here less than five years ago.

I’ve never wanted a wall. But this lack of planned growth makes me roll over in my grave.

Honest question, what growth is unplanned in Livermore?

Anyone ever heard of the General Plan and our local Zoning Code? Not to mention the numerous Planning Commission and City Council meetings.

Explain the brisa st development. And the ugly hotel plans, and the lack of transparency on Isabel. No one needs what you are building. Where are the schools. Don’t rebuke the truth.

I just did explain them, as well as previously spoke to the independent School District reviews. If you don’t want a reasonable dialog about these “truths” then there’s no reason to continue the conversation.

Look, the City has guiding documents, General Plan, etc. which is follows in a very public process.

Was this the WalMart on Alcosta and Village? Grew up in development directly behind there. Can’t believe this sickness has now spread to SR.
