Will let you know when applications for this open up. We're forever moving to the point where anyone talented and hungry can "just show up" and we can help them get the rest of the way, all at no financial risk to the student

To be clear: Rent is covered by Lambda. On top of Lambda covering rent we also give you $500/month to spend on food etc. The instruction and coaching is provided at no upfront cost. You pay nothing until hired. Not a penny.

This is basically us saying, “We bet that we can provide not only world-class training, but also living expenses and housing. Even if you only pay us back when it works we can cap our maximum possible return at $40k and *still* have margins. Your move, higher ed.

ISA's are not new, and stats show most will pay more in overall "tuition" this way.
-
Show me the stats
-
The stats I have seen are for traditional universities, I did not realize Lamda was a coding academy. With a shorter program length and focused course work an ISA may be beneficial.
-
Correct
-
But what are Lamda's current graduation and placement rates? Won't these take a hit if many pursue this opportunity? Not requiring any "skin" in the game could impact graduation rates, and if the converse is true how is Lamda helping place all these new graduates in $50K+ roles?
-
We have entire teams dedicated to sourcing opportunities for and helping students get hired. Otherwise we don’t get paid.
-
And graduation rate currently? Do you think this new model will improve grad rates or just enrollment? Student outcomes need to be front and center when it comes to education innovation.

Is Lambda open to folks resident outside of the US? Africa to be specific
-
It’s open to anyone, deferred tuition is only in the US and EU for now
-
So would this experiment apply to say... Canadians
, if we came up with the $20k tuition? -
We could make it work

Holberton is 17% for 3 years as well. No housing.
-
No living stipend either. Or instructors. I like Holberton, but verrry different business model and pedagogical framework
-
Do you know what Holberton’s cap is? I believe it’s $85k?
-
Went there to Holberton, hated it like you said due to no instructors and you just might as well google stuff on your own. Good thing I left early. It worked for some but a lot left as well. I’d like info on stipend availability in my current location as a pose to moving to UT
-
We currently aren’t running any living stipend experiments
