It’s not a podcast, but if you’re doing a coding bootcamp this is a great supplemental resource. https://teachyourselfcs.com
-
If you’re doing Lambda we teach you that stuff as a part of it :)
-
Looking forward to it!!

How to Start a Startup series at Stanford is absolutely highway robbery. Such valuable information for free... among many others.
-
Is it this one? If so do you know where I can get the rest of it?https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/how-to-start-a-startup/id922398209?mt=2 …
-
Yeah that’s it. For some reason the first ten episodes (of twenty) fell off iTunes but they’re on YouTube. Y combinator has lots more too.

Podcast app suggestions please.

Overcast is good, & lets you adjust playback speed.
-
Second
@OvercastFM Two features it has that I can’t live without: 1. Voice boost. Helps smooth out increases the sound. Many podcasts sound awful without this. 2. Smart speed. Cuts silence out during lulls. Boosts your listening speed without any ill effects to comprehension. -
Pocket Casts. Same, but free.
-
Overcast is free as well. If you want, you can pay a few bucks a year to hide the ads. But they’re unobtrusive anyway. I subscribed more to support them than to get rid of the ads.
-
Ok. Same but free and no ads :)
-
My Pocket Casts definitely wasn't free. Did they change it?
-
No, Pocket Casts isn’t free. It’s $4.

Agree with all except 2x speed. I’ve found that increases overall anxiety for me and makes me feel to stressed. I may be the only one, but the feeling is real.

-
Agreed some people in podcasts talk at 2x speed already.

The portability itself is a huge advantage. Listening to audiobooks and podcasts while driving or working out rather than needing to sit down with a book / visit a lecture hall lets you utilize so much more time.
-
I completely agree with this, audiobooks and podcasts are game changers
-
What’s best audiobook software?
-
I use audible, it has a phone app as well as web player which is all I need.
