Feel like "sleep in your car in the south bay" is a more common part of the silicon valley grind than an outside observer might expect, but once you see rent prices it all makes sense

I did it sometimes at my first programming job, while commuting from Oakland to the south bay. There was a guy in my office complex doing the same, who went so far as to have dress shirts on clothes hangers in his car.

True, but once inside these corrupt good ole boy systems, which will still keep people out, it is for those who have been 'accepted' by peers (which means nothing for our real identity) to fight for the marginalized.
