She said that Islam is homophobic and violent, as expected, many followers of the religion of peace proved her wrong by altering her life forever and giving her thousands of death threats and putting her under witness protection. The religion of peace always delivers.

You may have left religious fundamentalism, but have you been able to free yourself from fundamentalist thinking? Are your views still rigid? Do you demand that others hold your same opinions? Part of maturing is recognizing that others are entitled to think differently than you,

Choice and autonomy are empowering to women. Respect the choice to wear Hijab but please don't fetishize the pain mandatory hijab causes, what it stands for and how many women around the world are forced, shunned, jailed, assaulted and treated horribly for choosing *not* to cover

If Islamists invested as much time in fixing their failed societies and wicked moralities as they spend attacking apostates and critics of Islam, maybe the Islamic world wouldn't be so laughable and miserable today.

Hijab is a sartorial symbol of: ❌ gender apartheid ❌ political Islam ❌ sharia that says 2 👩🏽👩🏽=1👨🏽 ❌ women in mosque basements ❌ rape culture ❌ misogyny ❌ miseducation of girls ❌ unemployment of women Privilege blinds many to the inequity👩🏽face in political Islam.
