Exactly. This is my secondary income and I create fun, immersive content. And by the time YouTube approves a video that shouldn’t have been demonetized in the first place, I’ve lost money on the first day’s views. Which is always the highest view day.

1/2 While I absolutely sympathise and have experienced a little demonetisation myself - YouTube aren't legally obligated to pay us anything. We aren't employees, we aren't even contractors. Youtube operated for a long time without paying almost anyone at all.

2/2 Unfortunately all we can really do is try to work within the guidelines they lay down and contest it, if they decide we are actually outside or those parameters.

I’m glad I don’t have to worry about that stuff with YouTube. They’ve finally crossed the line with me. Let’s all stop showing their ads on our videos until they give in to our demands to stop demonetizing everything that comes their way.
