I keep seeing Poles featured on here that are not described as Jewish or Roma. Why were some of these Poles taken to Auschwitz?

These are all horrible but for some reason it really bothers me that he made candy & that somehow a man like this was seen as a threat or a problem by the Nazi's. :(

This struck me too, he made the world sweeter.

There is so much strength in these pictures. These people were not defeated by the Nazis. They were murdered but not broken. It does not matter how old they are they all have a strength that says you cannot break me.

He made sweets, what threat was he to anyone??? This has made me so angry, that poor man, murdered for what???

-
For nothing. But the Nazi's convinced themselves it was necessary or else they wouldn't have spent so much manpower and resources on it. But it was delusional. A threat was never there. They murdered them in cold blood for absolutely no reason but that they could. Terrible.

Disgraceful...

I'm so glad that all my retweets have reached as many people as possible. I'm an amateur WWII historian and I've seen Auschwitz and much more. The world must know that this can never happen again. Thank you for your input and interest.
