Hi Harry to check out how you can contribute to the family law review go to https://www.alrc.gov.au/inquiries/family-law-system …. So far the ALRC has held 139 consultations right around the country and received 495 submissions.
Thanks for the link, but can't find links to: 1. How to be a part of one of the 139+ consultations, 2. The 70% of submissions that remain unpublished, 3. Speeches and Q & A by Prof. Rhoades. Has @cporterwa told you to keep these things secret?
Thanks Harry. The terms of reference for our inquiry, which are set by the government, require the ALRC to consult widely and not keep material secret. To contribute to the inquiry and for more info pls email info@alrc.gov.au.
Dear ALRC, were you committed to an open inquiry, I would have expected those 3 basic pieces of information on your website. Your attitude here seems to mirror the contempt you show for the Terms of Reference in your "Issues Paper".
Just to be clear, I've already made a submission to your inquiry despite having to wade through your monumental "Issues Paper" even to get started. Now 3 months later I, like most of the other contributors, don't know if it will ever be read, much less published.
