    Also... Your offer needs to be unique (no one wants a free demo). Test Spotlight ads where you can dynamically pull the user's photo and name into the ad. Keep your messaging consistent all the way through funnel (landing page, follow up emails, calls, etc.). Good luck!

    Couple things to note: LinkedIn has some of the most accurate job title and company data in the world, you're going to pay a premium (CPM) for it. If you're paying for it, use it. Hyper-target your audiences with specific offers and messaging likely to resonate.

    A couple PSAs because this went a little crazy: I have no secrets. I don’t “do this” for brands. There are no shortcuts. If you think it might work for your brand get on TikTok and start building relationships. Put in the work.

    Prior to yesterday we’d seen decent momentum in posts on TikTok but it’s been almost impossible to attribute sales. My takeaway: If it makes sense for your product (easily sampled) and you’re willing to trust the investment, it’s worth a test.

    Quick TikTok case study: About 3 months ago we started DMing and sending free product to anyone with a decent following (5k+). We’ve sent ~100 units costing ~$2k. Yesterday a review video did over 2 million views and we did over $50k in sales (avg. day ~$8k).

    Building a Shopify app has been crazy (I have no idea what I'm doing) but results like these are why I started in the first place: 2019 (no app): - AOV $21.16 Jan 2020 (with app): - AOV $24.47 Pacing towards ~$220k of cost-free revenue added for this client in 2020.

    In conclusion: Media buyers need to be creative and storytelling experts. Agencies need to do buying and production. The days of separating buying and creative responsibilities are over. They're too dependent on each other and need to be a closed loop to be run effectively.
