Starlink is --at the VERY least-- establishing the upper limit of what's possible in the commercial satellite launch market.
@SpaceX assumes all the risk, and meanwhile demonstrates what can be achieved. This will NOT go unnoticed! -

Not sure about that, Ariane can still have Eu institutional and French customers at the very least and they won't have a large capacity for the foreseeable future. F9 does have the capacity but might have trouble filling it.

These are not launches, these are payloads. Dual launches on Ariane 5 do the trick.
