    The Community Foundation of Collier County awarded Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary a $25,000 grant. These funds will support the Insect Adventures and Wild Florida Adventure Program for 2nd and 5th grade students at the Sanctuary. Thank you for your support!

    Solitary Sandpipers are small shorebirds that typically forage in shallow wetlands in wooded areas. When migrating they will use wooded swamps, river edges, bogs, lakes, ponds, ditches, pastures, rice fields, and wet meadows.
