I wish this wasn't true, but it truly is. We've seen this over and over, time and again. If he'd been black, he'd not made it home that night. Now it's a precedent (?).

The second amendment as it is interpreted makes all of us unsafe. Gun violence is pervasive. I doubt the Sandy Hook parents feel white privilege protected their children from this scourge. None of us are safe.
