Not disagreeing with research, my wife is a psychiatrist and they help many people, but also sometimes mask causes that really need talk/behavioral therapy as well.

Yes: confirms what we know...but I wish Andrea did not repeat the canard that only 60% of patients improve on antidepressants. That figure comes from a study of chronically ill, treatment-resistant patients, & the outcome reported was remission.

But what is depression? The aetiology varies massively for identical presentations - developmental trauma, deprivation, ongoing abuse, genetics, etc. One drug for all this? Seriously?
