Of course it is (or should be) a priority. But thanks to the NRA (and spinelessness of too many elected officials) Congress provides zero funding; any work to date has been privately funded. Did he demand the appropriations?

He'll pull back. They'll stall it. Whatever happens, they're going to force Democrats to do the work, and they'll sit back and lob criticism at it. All to avoid contradicting their owners at the NRA. NRA owns the GOP.

Empty platitudes. Remember that the
@GOP actively warred against#Pediatricians in#Florida when they wanted to educate families about#gun safety and criminalized the question: Is there a gun in the home? -
Why not? Patients are consumers after all. Corporations make guns and the drugs to patch them up. Doctors get to treat them so they can get a salary to pay their student loans. Irony, anyone?
