        I don't argue the dangers of opioid addiction, at all. But they do help those with illness alleviate pain... @voxdotcom @Atul_Gawande

        Then make pain-relieving services - chiropractic, massage, PT, acupuncture etc. - more affordable. Drugs are cheap. These are not. The end.

        They keep taking them because they have permanent pain. Very few people are easily addicted to opioids.
