I predicted this. It is just terrible what they are doing to our health insurance system, mostly in secret. The media barely covers it.

We don't have a health insurance system.

They should be thrown out. Pre-existing conditions shouldn't be covered just because you have health insurance. It's like if I bought a car that had 3 wheels and my auto insurance paid for a new wheel because I have auto insurance.

Your analogy works to the extent that we can all be born w and easily retain perfect bodies/genes/health.
-
You are not entitled to anything.
-
this is ghoulish
-
Building a society that agrees that health care for all is as essential as a military and other given priorities
-
Arguing about abstractions like positive and negative rights, when people’s lives are on the line. Seems the definition of ghoulish to me.
-
So why would you want an ineffective way of saving lives? Seems like stupidity to me.

I've marched, protested, rallied, donated, voted. What more can I do? I'm exhausted. And now this. Make them stop.

Have you considered your efforts were against your best interests?

Unless of course she’s a breast cancer survivor like me, or have had any number of medical issues, or is overweight, or has high BP, or high cholesterol, etc, etc, etc that makes her uninsurable if Dolt45 dismantles the ACA.
-
So everyone pays for each other? Why not just pay for your own health care?
-
Because in the US that’s not possible if you really need it. Have you ever seen an ER bill? Or had surgery?
-
Yeah because the government is bed with insurance companies. I need corrective jaw surgery. With insurance it would be “free” but the cost would be $80,000 on paper. The actual cost with a free market lowers it to $17,000. Huge difference!
-
But did you pay the 17k? And you had the money? Good for you, most do not. What then?
-
I’d tell them they aren’t entitled to someone else’s services just because they demand it.
