On a few occasions recently this came up in interviews and conversations - after what is happening to void and to korora recently -: can the users of smaller distros trust the distro that it stays around? So if I'm to migrate from my openSUSE distro to Elive would I be safe?
There are some really nice, promising small distros out there like Solus, but cases like the one with void now are might cast a negative shadow on small distros which might grow big in the future. All distros start small after all.
Is there maybe a guide or a list of suggestions for small distros or starting distros on how to govern the project? Maybe from the @linuxfoundation ?Wondering whats your take on this @linuxfoundation and @jlwallen.
