Quote this tweet with an opinion about programming that will get you unjustly dunked on. 😂 (I'm going first)

Improving C++ build times (network build, precompiled headers, build cache, 64-core CPU) is counter productive. It enables overly complex projects to become more complex.

I'm on board with that regarding distrubuted build systems. Regardless of tech involved, a build will take just under the amount of time that would make someone want to improve it.

Python is a miserable programming language that should be neither taught nor used.

It’s also extremely scary that a lot of machine learning is built with it. The amount of bugs lurking in machine learning algorithms because of the weak typing of python must be mind blowing and probably catastrophic

Code duplication is not the enemy. It can be insurance against divergent features in the future.

Programmers should apply their problem solving abilities to advance science instead of building commercial products.

I sort of want to agree with this, but at the same time I think about commercialism solving problems like transportation, process inefficiencies which aren't purely scientific but require a lot of rigor to solve.
