Another successful robotics operation in space! This week, the team of , , and engineers analyzed, planned, and executed the change-out of a failed Remote Power Control Module outside the in record time. Great job!

The Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator (SPDM - or "Dextre") is attached to the end of Canadarm2 to complete detailed robotics work with a set of unique tools that align with International Space Station (ISS) hardware interfaces. Complex operations to remove and replace hardware on the International Space Station are planned and conducted by specialists with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), NASA - Johnson Space Center, and MDA, the Canadian space company that manufactured Dextre and Canadarm2 and which continues to provide engineering and operational support.
