Absolutely SPECTACULAR aurora today!!! Thankful for the recent solar activity resulting in these wonderful sights!
What a view of the AA-2 test this morning . This successful test proved that the abort motor’s 400,000 lbs of thrust would safely get astronauts away from the rocket in the event of a malfunction. Next up...Artemis 1 & 2, then boots on the Moon!
This storm is HUGE! That’s the Mississippi River and New Orleans on the left. It covers the entire Florida peninsula! We could see through the eye just as it was making landfall. Praying for the safety of everyone dealing with #HurricaneIan. 🙏

Our Crew-4 patch for our mission to has finally been released…what do you think? It’s gonna be a great mission with , , and Jessica Watkins!
This is my favorite image taken so far by Orion, currently in a Distant Retrograde Orbit around the Moon, farther than any human-rated craft has ever travelled! #Artemis #WeAreGoing
I am NOT a morning person, but I love a good sunrise! What a beautiful morning for a training flight enroute to !
This picture shows how the Florida peninsula is shedding all the water #HurricanIan dumped on it. This was taken approx 2 days after it made landfall. Ian sure churned up the waters of the Gulf of Mexico!
I just want to remind everyone how epic this is...11 humans (representing 4 countries 🇺🇸🇷🇺🇫🇷🇯🇵) are currently living in space...they arrived in 2 Dragons and a Soyuz. Amazing times!

Aurora are formed when solar particles interact with the Earth’s magnetic field. In this image, the Earth is illuminated by a full moon as the flies through the Southern Aurora off the coast of southern Australia
356 days after leaving the planet, Mark is finally home! He looked amazing and was moving around like he never missed a day without gravity! Welcome Home!!!
What a beautiful planet we live on. Earth is the perfect place for us!
This is amazing to me... 5 spacecraft currently docked ! Truly an INTERNATIONAL space port!

As a test pilot and aerospace engineer, I find this fascinating! As the wind blows past the mountains, the viscosity of the air causes eddies, or vortices, to be shed from alternating sides of the mountain…the same phenomena that makes a flag wave! 🇺🇸
Shout out to Crew 4! This afternoon we refined the fit of my space suit. Not only is it our personal spacecraft, it must also fit very precisely (especially the gloves!) to allow us to do our work. Thanks to the engineers & Suit Techs who work so hard to make this happen!
Thunderstorms over eastern Africa. The is a wonderful post to observe the beautiful intricacy of our planet!
“I spy with my little eye…a 🐉!” Yesterday and I helped bring aboard CRS-25 to the ! Can you see it photo-bombing the first pic? Today we unloaded nearly 5800 lbs of science and supplies!
Ever wonder what a 🚀 launch looks like from space? It’s amazing!! and fellow 🐢, Frank Rubio launched on a Soyuz just a few hours ago…now he’s at the front door of awaiting hatch opening! Welcome aboard, Frank!
T-7 days! Our spacecraft, FREEDOM, made it to Pad 39A where it is going thru final processing and will be stacked atop the its Falcon 9 rocket. Just a few days before head to the Cape for Dry Dress Rehearsal, Static Fire and…finally Launch. It’s getting close!
Flying over aboard the is a surreal experience. Each time, I’m amazed to think that our #Crew4 journey started there just a few short weeks ago! So close, yet so far away!
Happy Birthday, America! The crew of FREEDOM and

These pictures generated some interesting conversations around the dinner table about the geologic processes at work in forming this beautifully unique island. continues to be a fantastic outpost for learning about the Earth, as well as space!
Dear Ellie,
I hope so too. I love your great drawings! The moon and Saturn are two of my favorite things in the solar system...along with the Earth! Thank you for your note!
