I just want to remind everyone how epic this is...11 humans (representing 4 countries 🇺🇸🇷🇺🇫🇷🇯🇵) are currently living in space...they arrived in 2 Dragons and a Soyuz. Amazing times! 👩‍🚀👩‍🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀🧑‍🚀, 🐉🐉, 🛰

As a test pilot and aerospace engineer, I find this fascinating! As the wind blows past the mountains, the viscosity of the air causes eddies, or vortices, to be shed from alternating sides of the mountain…the same phenomena that makes a flag wave! 🇺🇸

Shout out to Crew 4! This afternoon we refined the fit of my space suit. Not only is it our personal spacecraft, it must also fit very precisely (especially the gloves!) to allow us to do our work. Thanks to the engineers & Suit Techs who work so hard to make this happen!

These pictures generated some interesting conversations around the dinner table about the geologic processes at work in forming this beautifully unique island. continues to be a fantastic outpost for learning about the Earth, as well as space!

How do you become an astronaut? How do you achieve your dreams? THIS! This is how...my wife, kids, parents, grandparents, teachers, mentors, friends, colleagues who sacrifice for me along the way. THEY make you who you are. It takes a village.

I just love this! The comraderie amongst men/women, civilian/military, and American/Russian/Italian astronauts is perhaps the significant legacy of human spaceflight. #forallmankind #nasa #ESA #роскосмос

This is a cool perspective of yesterday’s test of the test of the booster! 3.6 MILLION pounds of thrust coming out of this thing!!!

To get to the Moon, you need a lot of power. 🔥The boosters for @NASA's SLS rocket are the largest, most powerful ever built for flight. Check out the drone footage from Wednesday's Flight Support Booster (FSB-1) test, then learn more about the test >> go.nasa.gov/2GtJhnN

August’s auroras resulting from the mid-month geo-magnetic storm/solar activity were just breathtaking. Words (and even photos) don’t do them justice, but I’m glad the time-lapses came out so well. Again, thanks to for the compilation!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers out there. My prayer is that everyone would be as lucky as me to have such great Father Figures in their lives. There’s no greater gift than being a Dad! I hope you all enjoy your day down there, on “the Good Earth!”

I’m not sleeping on the job 😴 Today we collected data to compare to when I get back from This simulates our ability to get up after a fall. The results will help determine the effects of long-duration spaceflight on humans…important for future Moon/Mars Missions!

L-30 days…again. Our target launch date has slipped to April 19th. Space flight is incredibly complicated. The number of things that can affect a launch is staggering, and we are at the end of the whip. We are eager to go, but we’ll enjoy the extra few days with our families!

My whole career, The Sound of Freedom was defined by jet noise. Starting April 19th, it’s going to be even better. We have named our spacecraft FREEDOM, in honor of the freedoms we hold so dear. Tune in on April 19th to listen to the Sound of FREEDOM as Crew-4 launches to ISS!

FREEDOM!! Crew-4 will fly to the International Space Station in a new Dragon capsule named “Freedom.” The name celebrates a fundamental human right, and the industry and innovation that emanate from the unencumbered human spirit. 1/
