My wife’s in education & I am in . Although we’ll never force upon a particular career path we’re devoted to teaching our son everything we know. I sing these lullaby’s to him & thought I’d share them w/ the world. 1 of 5.

  2. You should use Relativity instead of Classical Physics when near strong gravitational field on Sundays.

  3. So the Office 360 has a “Read Aloud” function. I just copied a chapter I needed to read for class & copy/pasted into Word & used the Read Aloud function to listen to my chapter while taking notes as if I was in a lecture. I feel like a genius and wanted to share. You’re welcome!

  4. People have been very cool with me even with my poor analogies. 😂👍. Thank you all! But I do see this issue with others that I follow. When you have enough mass of followers you naturally get portion of population that make dumb comments outside the 2 and 3 stdv.

  6. “Will be back in a jiffy” means the amount of time light travels one fermi meter, about 3.3x10^-24 seconds. Will be back with more thermodynamics next week. My brain power is taxed this week with travels.

If you have to put energy in to unsalt (desalt?) the ocean water, do you gain ‘free’ energy when fresh water enters ocean water aside from water flow? Yes, and the process is called salination and the energy comes from changes in osmotic pressure.

Water likes to permeate into salt water to equalize chemical potential, this is called osmosis. It takes energy to reverse this if you want to make drinking water; ~1400 joules per liter is the minimum energy it takes to desalinate ocean water known as reverse osmosis. 1/

much longer to pop. Water has higher heat capacity that it transfers the heat from the flame thru the polymer preventing it from popping. Heat capacity is the reason why you burn your mouth from the cheese & not the crust of the pizza when the whole thing came out of the oven.

Nothing stores heat. Heat is energy transfer. How much heat can transfer in and out of a material is known as heat capacity. If you hold a balloon filled with air over a flame it pops almost instantly. If you hold a balloon filled with water over the same flame it will take 1/

I think this is a great way for amateur and professional astronomers as well as for the state parks to gain additional revenue during the park hours not being utilized at all.

Hey and anyone who works on it, how did you keep the air bubbles from forming when the melted holes for the photomultipliers were ‘dug’ and refrozen? Doing a paper and this is too specific to find in database. Vibration? Nothing? Thanks in advance!

Random trivia: Earth's mass is 5.9722±0.0006 × 1e27 g. That uncertainty? 6e23 g. Ceres's mass is 9e23. We only know the Earth's mass to plus or minus Ceres. That's because we only know the gravitational constant to 6-digit accuracy.

Had to fly into Kansas City today for work and the plane was filled with sea of red clothing, and people celebrated and sang the whole hour and 15 minutes. I’m happy for you guys but dude...
