        @Michael_Woolgar @Space_Station Until it runs out of fuel. SAFER is use for emergencies if astronauts become untether from Space Station.

        @mnicholsdevguy SAFER hasn't been needed. It was tested untethered during STS-64 mission. It was also tested by @CommanderMLA during STS-92.
