Sun glint on the ocean is beautiful from , just like it is from the shore, but different.
Wednesday's scrub accomplished something new, fueling and de-fueling of a Falcon9 w/humans onboard. Fitting that our test flight checked that off the list of firsts before Crew1 (, , , and Shannon Walker) climb into their vehicle!
Happy #FathersDay from just a few of the dads on today. My family put together a wonderful video greeting for me showing how the day would have gone if I was home. Think I can talk them into just giving me that day when I get home in a few weeks?

Unmarked Crew Dragon, does it look like:
- A smuggler's ship?
- A droid escape pod?
Or
- The most exciting ride of 2020?
Probably depends on where you sit...
Flight test of Dragon's escape system will be the culmination of a huge effort by the & team. It'll consume a lot of hardware but should give us confidence that crews will stay safe during ascent emergencies. AND, it'll be spectacular to watch!
A spacesuit's job is to protect you in extreme environments. From space shuttle ascent & entry, to spacewalks aboard , to the vehicle emergency scenarios, operating with their protection becomes 2nd nature.
The best part of returning home after having completed the 1st crewed flight of 's Dragon was my son's attempt to take me down at the bottom of the airstairs when I returned to Ellington Field!
How many people can say offered to stand in at work for them? I appreciate the offer Captain!
Hope you're watching us live when we lift off! #LaunchAmerica
