#YouTube better not show me two adds anymore, because I'm reporting all second ads in a row as inappropriate so I can get to the damn video. Because two ads IS inappropriate. Let me skip the single ad in 5 seconds, call it a view and move on. The platform didn't always suck.
At the very least, @TeamYoutube could give us, the viewers, some incentive for slogging through these ads before getting back to the content we clicked on. There's none. It's more worth it to me to spend 2 seconds per ad reporting it for no reason than it is to watch for 15.

In short, the viewers are treated as a commodity. There's no paying it forward, there's no giving back to the community with this except a skip button with a forced time gate. Maybe I should just go back to the 90's where I belong. If only I could.

And an addendum for
@TeamYouTube? Sincerely SCREW YOUR WHOLE MOBILE PLATFORM. Just because a video is flagged as music means I can't home-embed it so I can listen to it while using another app. I look for the same code that isn't flagged to circumvent that.Show this thread -

Respect is earned, not given. And if you aren't going to give the people who make your paycheck with views and, people like us will continue to do this.

You can ignore all of these tweets as well and blow me off as insignificant. But if other people are reading this, they now know how to do the same thing to screw you over, and these methods will spread like a virus, and we'll continue finding workarounds until you listen.

In short, disliking something is more than clicking a single button on a video.
