Your information is wrong, and out of date. Assange was never charged in Sweden, the prosecutor decided to discontinue the investigation rather than pursue it once she had heard his statement. He has asylum from the US which is persecuting him over WikiLeaks publications.

Your information is out of date. The Swedish "preliminary investigation" (he was never charged) was dropped a year ago after exonerating SMS messages from the women's phones showed they were "railroaded by police", "police made up the charges in order to arrest him", and others.
