    The fight we have in through school and college is mirrored in the community. We have common cause.

    After a flurry of emails & a marathon session on hold I have one assistance sorted. Now I have to wait to find out why the other was cancelled. Can you imagine non-disabled people putting up with this to take the train?

    I provided some free training a while ago and the organisers have kindly asked me to suggest a charity for them to make a donation to as a thank you. With so many charities to pick from I’d love some help - any suggestions for charities which help children will be welcome

    Just been told grim story of son on DoLs & family denied access ✳️If anyone else has example of hospital / inpatient unit excluding family can you DM me?✳️ Maybe excluded after raising concerns Or “they’d be more settled if you stopped visiting”

    Could this "pre ehcp" being referred to here, be what my LA call an ANP (additional needs plan)? That I'm being repeatedly told by sch, we need a yr of fully costed support from the 6k, before we can ask for the ehcp assessment. Step up from primary which was a flat refusal

    Checklist is excellent but where templates include strengths in section B... and capped no. of outcomes it's hard for parents or YPs or sencos to see wood for trees

    Lots of Section E and F combined, F not clearly identified, ‘strategies’ that support F but aren’t F so therefor a ‘no mans land’ with no legally binding responsibility, but which holds majority of provision...it’s endless. A national EHCP template is a vital necessity...

    Upstairs listening to my wife sing and chat with our "non-verbally" (pre-verbal) son... Who is joining in with his own tunes, repeating it when she gets it wrong and singing "come on, go on" when she paused... Amazing woman, amazing kid... He really chatters at night 1:1 Au-some!
