Twitch needs to ban gambling streams full stop The amount of bullshit and pitfalls this is going to create in the next 6 months will fuck the website in so many ways we don't even realize yet Just looking at EU gambling laws, anyone could see this will not end well

I don't hold doing gambling streams against any streamer because of how lucrative and successful they are It's entirely Twitch's responsibility to uphold integrity on their own site, not the streamers Don't hate the player, hate the game

I think about 12 EU countries dont allow the use of Predictions. I think the channel point system in itself is allowed.

I don’t see how people are getting banned for their neighbor 3 doors down blaring a DMCA’d song barely audibly but on the flip side it’s perfectly acceptable to introduce 15 year olds to online gambling

A lot of EU countries have already banned the use of the Predicton system because it technicaly counts as unregulated gambling. Its only a matter of time before some countries outright block Twitch as a whole.
