    How easily fooled - I thought surely duchy organic products from Waitrose would be free of single use plastic with Prince Charles being so strong on the environment. Waitrose manage product line now and seems they’re less concerned

    Thank you for responding, Jo. As you can imagine, however, when so many other companies manage to already have this issue solved, it makes little sense to us, as consumers, to not also have your packaging sorted 😕

    These supermarkets need to take serious action about packaging our fresh veg in plastic!.. (not currently recycled) why not pack them in biodegradable bags? At least we can re-use them for our food waste.

    So... which one is it, ? Not yet recycled, or recyclable? Until companies stop using far-ahead deadlines for sustainable solutions, I'm not buying. I'm tired of big companies making money while the planet is at stake.

    ⁦⁩ sometimes I see packaging silliness that simply beggars belief. This is one of those. A bulb of garlic - in a sealed plastic bag, in a plastic pot. Really? Also, look behind at the salt. Can’t this be in a muslin bag like French sea salt?
