The BBC walked straight into this trap. Their craven reluctance to hold the powerful to account means that it has lost its natural defender. Us.

Hi, I voted for brexit and do not condone this behaviour

There are two Leave factions: 1. The group (large majority) who are oblivious to the transition period; and 2. The Brexit Elites who are fully aware, but are deliberately propagandising: "See, the sky didn't fall in". Group 1 still being conned by Group 2.

  4. Why are you blaming Remainers for what you and your paper has caused to transpire? And what deal would May have accepted? The compromise was: leave political Europe but keep economic Europe. That means CU and SM, which means freedom of movement. When was that *ever* on offer.

3 Trump's symptoms w/ speech, cognition, behavior, balance ect have convinced ppl he’s deteriorating. This would always happen if he remained in public. Two great doctors to follow are . Other experts have been in contact too

It's really annoying that Donald Tusk cares more about the people of the UK than I do.

This just about sums up why remainers are angry about how the leave side have campaigned. Daniel Hannan isn’t an idiot, he knows for a fact that we’re in an 11 month transition period so nothing has changed yet, but he chose to tweet it to further mislead the public.

  10. Remainers are finally showing real defiant anger and leavers are still spewing rage. Does this mean the country is at last coming together?

Ten years ago today, The Lancet retracted Andrew Wakefield’s fraudulent 1998 article claiming the MMR vaccine caused autism. He performed procedures on children unethically, paid kids at a birthday party to give him blood samples, and doctored data. He still claims he was right.

Reminder that on the government's own estimates a Canada-style free-trade deal would cost the UK 6.7% of lost GDP growth over 15 years. Jobs will be lost, businesses will close, schools and hospitals lose funding. The poorest will pay the price.

I also believe that Wakefield’s fraud led to a distrust of science that has led to climate change deniers and others who reject scientific data in favor of conspiracy or GOP politicians/Fox News talking points, but that’s just my theory.

  19. Not a great start when UK Government seems to wilfully disregard the issues of economic interdependence and geographic proximity. The UK Government really needs to start showing proper regard for its own agreements with the EU. It cannot treat the EU or people at home like fools.

  20. So I guess you're happy with the transition deal becoming the permanent deal then?

  21. Are leavers just pretending not to know that we’re in a transition period where nothing changes or do they genuinely not realise?
