I really enjoy code reviews because it is there where knowledge i shared. You have to see the image like this : 4 developers enjoy CR the guy in the middle is the code... You don't judge the developer you judge the code. Egoless programming is the key to enjoy CR.

We don't "beat up" your code it is THE TEAM'S code. Once you get this CR are not a pain in the ass but a enjoyable ritual to improve yourself, share knowledge / good pratices end so on, and transfer knowledge (about the project)

I got to the point, that if they thought my code needed a review, then I would simply withdraw ALL my code and tell them to build it their damn selves! But I had boucoup seniority, and my code was never ever in question. I didn't have time for in-house political circle-jerks.
