Sandile Mnikathi will be the Deputy Mayor of the only DA-led municipality in KwaZulu-Natal. The party made history when it won the uMngeni Municipality, better known as the Howick Municipality, in last week’s Local Government Elections.

The DA literally warned of this future but y'all were complaining about a single white male metro Mayoral candidate and posters... 🤷‍♂️ Now you come here to pontificate. It is the responsibility of citizens to prevent this scenario. They can do that through the ballot. To vote DA.

Hey you might have thought of this each time you wrote a DA hit piece or fawned for the EFF. Funny how actions have consequences. Now stop whining and live with them.

I agree with the DA's position. Both the ANC and EFF have been shown to be little more than organised crime outfits. If that is what voters and smaller parties want then that is what they will get.

Haha. Isn't it funny how all the people who dismissed the DA's warnings about the ANC/EFF as a "swart gevaar" are now desperately wanting the DA to save them from the ANC/EFF 😂

Here’s an editor who has spent 4 years brazenly campaigning for the ANC and maligning the one party that's not part of the kleptocracy, the DA. Now he is disappointed that this very same DA won’t bend their principles, subvert the will of voters and bail out his beloved ANC.

Meet the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the DA-run uMngeni Municipality in KZN. Chris Pappas - 30 years old. Sandile Mnikathi - 26 years old. This is the team that will lead the project to rebuild uMngeni into the vibrant, growing, and inclusive place it needs to be. 🇿🇦

The ANC, who suffered major losses in the municipal election last week, have had their woes compounded as the DA, IFP and GOOD have all shut them out of coalition talks. |

Anyone who wants to work with the EFF endorses their demands to EWC and for them to dictate who will be Municipal managers. There is a very specific reason they want to do this. VBS will be small change if they deployed an EFF cadre into a city administration. No thanks!

📺[MUST WATCH] "It is not the DA's job to save the ANC. Our job is to save SA. The DA will not go into a coalition with the ANC or EFF. Our focus is on building governments that get things done for residents." - Here's an update following the DA's FedEx meeting.

Bringing the ANC below 50% has been a lifelong project of the DA because we recognised, very early into our democracy, that SA will never thrive under the ANC. The DA has arrested the decline to become the only national party to grow in this election.
