Today I put forward a motion to accelerate the completion of #yeg's bike network in redeveloping areas by 2026. That's 408km. We don’t have 15yrs to wait during a climate emergency. Investing in active transit is a low cost, high return action we should take immediately. #yegcc

The day consisted of tree planting, special demonstrations to portray the daily job of an arborist, bug displays, a composting station, and nature themed educational activities to demonstrate the importance of biodiversity in our urban forest.

Today, 600 students took part in a day of learning about trees & our urban forest as part of #yeg’s Arbor Day Celebration! 🌳🐛🌿 Our teams in Parks & Roads are doing great work to ensure Edmonton is greener as we grow & a wonderful place to call home for generations to come 💚

The findings of ASIRT’s investigation are clear. The decision of the Crown Prosecutor to not proceed with charges is deeply troubling. I am saddened for Pacey’s family and alarmed by the message this sends about accountability, transparency, and justice.
