    Thank you for yet again standing up for the oppressed and bringing us all together. This is my first time attending a protest for Palestine and my heart was so full to be surrounded by others who cared so deeply about ending the occupation.

    I shot this a few years ago at one of the heights of my battle with depression. To me, depression feels like a hazy fog that sweeps over my life, obscuring hope and life and robbing me of my joy. Even years later this photo still has a big impact on me.

    dyk millions of calves in the US are killed each year so a completely different species, beyond infancy & w/ teeth, can drink the milk that's naturally intended for them? Is suffering & violent death funny? This is Florida & this is legal, approved & sanctioned by the AVMA.

    "What's happening in Palestine is so complicated—" No, it's not. It's actually very simple. Israel is a settler-colonial state that is occupying, suffocating, and forcibly displacing Palestinians. Framing it as complex only serves to excuse Israel's actions.

    You know how every time an israeli kills a Palestinian, they make up some bullshit cover-up story blaming the Palestinian for their own death? I can’t find one for the 63 y/o woman who was killed today. They don’t even need to cover up their thirst for our blood anymore.

    At least 2 people died in there, and more are unaccounted for, because Amazon forced them to work last night, despite tornado warnings, just like they forced people to work in heat waves last summer, just like they forced people to work through covid. Amazon is killing workers.

    There are a lot of problems within the vegan community. Yt veganism is a problem. But people are using that term to avoid criticism and using it incorrectly. Non-vegans do not know enough about veganism to use that term. And threads like that are not helpful.

    To say Gaza is an open-air prison is not an exaggeration. More than two million Palestinians are physically trapped in the small strip of land, and their access to every single thing, including food, electricity, and communication with the outside world, is controlled by Israel.
