A top tax rate of 70% is actually less radical than under Eisenhower, a Republican president with 90%+ top tax bracket for post-war greatest generation. Still to the left of the Clintons, Bushes, Obama & all who cater to super wealthy American oligarchs.

Yesterday we started a convo w/ the rules pkg about ending , a political policy lacking economic merit that sabotages progress where Americans value it most: healthcare, education, housing, & more. Today I’m proud to cosponsor legislation w/ to end it.

The Democratic Establishment’s 2020 candidate is Joe Biden, who let Anita Hill get destroyed. The Democratic Establishment’s top attack guy is David Brock, the GOP operative who destroyed Anita Hill by labeling her “slutty.” Let that sink in...

Sometimes we take for granted exactly how radical ideas like Social Security, the VA, and public schooling really are: that we will care for our elders, provide healthcare, and educate *all* children in America free of cost at the point of service.

The moment the voter feeds his/her ballot into an electronic scanning machine that has a wireless cellular modem is the moment when one’s vote may be flipped & recorded however a hacker programs the vote. That’s Black Box voting.

We don't have an accountable & legitimate voting system. We vote on completely unverifiable black box machines with hidden proprietary code. Another large Harvard study found that the US has the worst voting system in the Western World.

Tomorrow I will also vote No on the rules package, which is trying to slip in . PAYGO isn’t only bad economics, as explains; it’s also a dark political maneuver designed to hamstring progress on healthcare+other leg. We shouldn’t hinder ourselves from the start.

I will be voting NO on the Rules package with . It is terrible economics. The austerians were wrong about the Great Recession and Great Depression. At some point, politicians need to learn from mistakes and read economic history.

Message to House Dems: Do NOT vote for “PayGo” in the rules package. It’s a brainless Republican idea that tax cuts or mandatory spending increases must be offset by tax increases or mandatory spending cuts. Totally disables fiscal policy.
