    In the space of 24-hours: Two leading activists arrested. Tomorrow's mainstream pro-democracy protest banned. And two protest organisers attacked by thugs yesterday.

    Update: A police spokesperson told HKFP that Chan was arrested on suspicion of rioting and assaulting a police officer. The Organised Crime And Triad Bureau are investigating.
