Companies making capital investments are incorporating sustainability, equity, etc., in business cases and payback calculations. It’s both good for society and good business. I’d much rather see business tackling social justice/enviro issues via investment than govt mandates.

Call me cynical, but I think one can confidently expect big business to go on maximising profits for shareholders, with spend on social justice mainly restricted to their PR and advertising departments. In any case, the accounting will be the same double-entry style.
