        So has Rhode Island found yet another way to raise revenue by threatening doctors over essentially clerical errors. There is more than one way to lose a Congressional seat, apparently. Let’s chase the doctors out next!!

        This raises many questions. Is RI Hospital's click error rate different from others using Epic? Others using any EHR? Others in the state? Does DOH need to update response to EHR issues? Could artificial Intelligence decrease these kinds of errors?

        Why are you spreading the “third leading cause” canard. You know that estimate is an innumerate outlier and even so refers to contributed to not caused. That would require 30-50% of all deaths in hospitals to be due to error. Better estimates are 1/10th that.
