I'm so happy seeing ppl dat trolled him praising him 4 his amazing contributions in d games. Many called him crap up until abt 2 mths ago. Glad he’s proved alot of fans wrong &pray he continues. This clearly shows Emery knws wht buttons to push to get him going.

A classy goal and then he got lost in the wilderness until Emery arrived. Love the newfound confidence!

Think of it as a superhero’s origin story. Future success is molded by failures of the past!
-
He wasn't a failure when he broke through the ranks. I'm sure you've heard it said that "form is temporary, but class is permanent"? Savour this moment mate!
-
I never said he was a failure. He certainly started out with a bang and then perhaps lost confidence? Was misused? I’m happy to ignore the last 2 years with Wenger, whose time had passed
-
I was trying to say that he had an opportunity to experience failure, and that now he’s better off for it.

-
IMO it was too much too soon for him, he was thrown head first into a long run of matches and just wasn't ready to handle that. All great experience of course. We're doing smarter now with our younger players. AI is an immense talent, hopefully great things in his future.
-
Agreed. Wenger played him far too often (or not in the right spot?) last spring

"Still with Iwobi... who scores! His first goal for Arsenal! The 19-year-old has doubled the Gunners' lead with a punishing counter-attack!"
