The model is backwards. People should get paid by a trusted not-for profit proxi organization that would in turn sell controlled access to insurance companies and the medical industry. Paid by the savings from systematic preventative care.

I am not quite sure how people getting paid for their data changes the stratification that comes with not having access to the money to buy the tools to have data collection devices, or medical care.

Having money or not shouldn’t be a factor in data control and data collection when it comes to people’s health. Whoever is paying for care (government, insurances) could invest in collection and preventative care to save $$. Control over personal data is another challenge...
