And while many in the US bask in (perhaps understandable) schadenfreude over Julian Assange, few doubt there would be an Espionage Act case here, which would set a troubling precedent for other news outlets.
Totally agree. I can't stand the guy, but I don't think he broke any laws. Even if he encouraged leakers to leak, journalists do that all the time.
