Maybe both have their "backs against the wall," but different walls. Under pressure re civil rights, RTE wants Trump to confirm that "FETÖ" is a terrorist threat. "FETÖ" is meaningless to 99%+ Americans, but Trump, investigated for foreign influence, may fear blackmail from RTE.
