Were these people THAT desperate for a leader? Could they not cope with figuring out how to be decent humans? How to get jobs fairly?
You are making the same mistake that you are critics of Islamism: 1) Ignoring the individuals 2) the labelling per the general definition.

Gülenists can stop being Gülenists. It's not an ethnic identity. It's possible to leave it. Why advocate for "re-branding" of the network?
