Coming on the heels of new, substantiated allegations of torture, this roll-out of "judicial reform" is a masterpiece of bad timing. Again we hear everything will be better after the election, w/o explaining why nothing was done earlier. No wonder they have to pay ppl to listen.

This is not the first time. The last judicial "reform" they undertook in 2009 took away the whatever little independence the judiciary had at that time, politicized legal system completely. AKP is used to disembody universal concepts like `reform` and f it up beyond recognition
