I have some empathy for the ECtHR. It was not conceived as a substitute for domestic courts, & it institutionally is incapable of dealing with total breakdowns in rule of law like in Turkey (or Russia, or Azerbaijan, or...).
Acc to Turkish Constitutional Court's own report, it gives decision of violation of the rights only in %2 of all cases, in other saying, it has provided remedy for the violation of the rights 2801 times out of 161.084 cases.pic.twitter.com/8cL4CqoMeN
