Watching now, this must have been a frustrating and fascinating experience.

It's frustrating that I can't subscribe, add to a playlist or comment on this video.
-
You can get a strike against your channel for a video that you add to a playlist, if YouTube later deems it objectionable. So in a way, it's a protection for us that we can't. This happened to me a few months ago, and there wasn't even a way to find out which video it was for.
-
It's blocked totally in England now and I can only access it through the direct link and my history. I'm pissed. This should be seen

Im just trying to get in her pants. Just kidding. She's very nice and she clicked with our group very easily. It's plain to see that she belongs in our group.

fyi the video is not available in germany, probably
@YouTube blocked it in more countries. this arbitrary censorship is disgustingpic.twitter.com/q45JMf1BOj

Yup, in UK too. While fascists shouldn't be given a legitimate platform, it's also important for us to understand those who threaten our inclusive way of life. It's pretty interesting too.

Why? We know why people choose supremacism. They want to feel superior to others and exert power over others in the worst and most extreme ways possible.
-
You might have more evidence of your (reasonable) ASSUMPTIONS if you tried talking to people who have weird beliefs. If you truly trust yourself, then you would be expected to stay unharmed by hearing silly ideas, but you might be better equipped to combat them.
-
These beliefs aren't weird. National Socialism is an extreme variant of the tribalism that is hardwired into humans. Tribalism is very, very seductive as it fulfills higher needs (Maslow's Hierarchy).
-
I'll accept that correction. Maybe weird was not the correct word. counter to what most people consider moral in western democracy, and thankfully not that common. I think there are FAR more common tribalism examples today than Nazis.
-
I will go further, and say that its extremely helpful to understand the allure, and know to recognise it in oneself and others, and know why its bad and how to counter it. if one thinks its only something that afflicts "evil people", then one never recognises it in themselves.
-
The counter to tribalism is either destruction of the 'tribe' in question and/or substitution with membership in a different tribe.
-
Wow!!! I so hope I understood you wrong, but I suspect not. You sound like a dangerous person.
-
I never said that tribalism was inherently or always bad. Tribalism was necessary to counter the Confederacy, the Central Powers, the Axis Powers, and the Communist bloc. Note that the German National Socialist 'tribe' was destroyed and a 'West German' one created...
