Hindus try to convince atheists that Hinduism is not a religion - it is- as if only religions can be batshit crazy. Me thinking there is a monster under my bed is also not a religion - unless I start worshiping it. Either way, it's ridiculous. Grow the fuck up.

All religions try to explain how their religion is different, eventually it's like an advertisement agency convincing it's clients how they are different from the herd

So which religions have and are still killing atheists and which allow freedom of thought? Hindus have never killed atheists. Semetic faiths on the other hand....only Muslims do so today. Want to be an atheist hero? Take them on and stop the crap against Hindus. We’ve had enough.

Hmmm...and since I’ve done a fair bit of statistical analysis in my life, it looks to me that this trend is on the rise amongst some cohorts. It could be just an increase in reporting, but either way, religion has become more important again.

Lol..Such kind of vitriolic preconceived notions about Hinduism is in itself abominable n puerile too. Unlike other religions, this is the only way of life in which scriptures never preach commandment, Unlike other religions Hinduism never stupefied human conscience and logic.

It would be cool if you could share some specific crazy aspects of Hinduism that you find ridiculous. We could all learn something (instead of just having to watch you get all excited and spewing expletives- which is entertaining no doubt, but not very useful)

We still have Caste system, Manuscript which is more inhuman than slavery, untill recently we had "Sati" ( if husband dies wife should be burnt alive with him). We also have sexist Hindu marriage act. And then there is moral policing of far right groups in India

I bet you'v not read the Manu- Smriti. There is no caste in India that itself is a term on non Indian origin there is Varna & Jati. Sati is a ritual suicide which was mostly voluntary, very rare & a result of extreme social stress. These cliche are just used to batter hindu dharma
